Bunbury Arms
The Bunbury Arms
Under New Management!
The Bunbury Arms is a beautiful pub, carvery & restaurant, situated in Great Barton, just outside Bury St. Edmunds on the A143. Having been shut since January ’23, the Bunbury Arms will re-open their doors in Sept ’23.
The newly appointed landlords, Keven Swales and his wife, Rebecca, are at the helm of this exciting venture and have left no stone unturned in refurbishing The Bunbury Arms. They’ve introduced fresh chairs, tables, state-of-the-art kitchen equipment, and a vibrant new coat of paint to revitalise the beloved locale.
In addition to the new decor, a revamped menu is set to debut, offering a delightful blend of timeless carveries, which the pub was renowned for, alongside classic dishes infused with creative twists. Keven Swales, who once began his career as a pot washer, in his teenage years at the same pub, exuded enthusiasm about the impending reopening “We’re excited and raring to go. We just want to reopen now. I know a lot of people want to come back,” he declared.
